So I missed my ride to church this morning (overslept & alarm didn’t go off) but I asked my mom to phone me in to my home church & hear Praise & Worship & the message.

Scripture: Mark 9:43-48 (NIV)
If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,where the worms that eat them do not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
When it comes to hell, The Devil wants you to believe their is no God. Satan wants to deceive you and make you believe all his lies. Some people think it’s gonna be a party in hell (It’s a PARTY, It’s a PARTY, It’s a PARTY lol). That’s false, God wouldn’t do that
2nd Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
It’s not God who put you do this, you put yourself through this. The Devil is trying to get so many people on his side. Even different religions say “There’s no hell”…THAT’s OFF. God is a Holy God & doesn’t allow sin to come into his kingdom.
1.) Hell is a Actual Place
- It is there. It is real peopSte
- Jesus only talked about
- Stastically 120,000 people die and go to hell (Life is Hard) “/
- It’s not define for you, it’s for Satan & the Anti-Christ and his evil ways. If we don’t get it together with God, we’re going to hell
- Matthew 25:41
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, yu who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”
- Psalms 9:17
“The wicked go down to the realm of the dead, all the nations that forget God.”
- Anybody who doesn’t believe in God, murders, liers, cheaters, adulters, are gonna be in hell
- We wanna be in Heaven not in Hell
***IF YOU DON’T ACCEPT CHRIST AS YOUR LORD & PERSONAL SAVIOR, YOU’RE GOING TO HELL***. Everyday folks, famous/rich people, family memembers, friends. It’s very unfortunate so we as Christians have to save souls
2.) Hell is an Awful Place
- Fire, worms, etc.. (reminiscent of the underworld in Hercules)
- Jesus said we have to cut out some stuff
- Cut out some situations, people in your life. These issues & folks are taking you to hell
- “Don’t take me to hell with you”
- It’s a place of seperation from God. No Life, peace, joy, righteous, salvation, no rest. It’s dark
- Matt 25:41
Jesus said, “Depart from me, you who are cursed, into eternal fire prepared for he devil and his angels.”
- Rev 14:11
“And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast an its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”
- Eternity is forever. You don’t want to end up in forever
3.) Hell is an Aviodable Place
- You don’t have to go to relalize it’s not a place where you want to be. It’s about free will & choice
- Mark 8:33 “gav his whole world, lose himself/whole soul”
Jesus rebuked peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan! You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
- You can you your direction & faith but you gotts guard your soul
- John 14: 6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- He saved us from hell, sin, rejection, eternal damantion
- He died so we can live an eternal life with him
- Jesus paved the way. He wiped all of our sins away.
- Hell is not my home, I got a mansion made just for me in heaven. I’m going to my father’s house.
REFLECTION:
Just accept Jesus as your Lord and personal savior. You don’t have to be perfect, sadity, holy-roller. God knows you and wants you to come as you are. Accept him so your name can be in the “Book of Life”. And even if you are accepted, help someone else get to know Jesus.
